When Wellstone died he must have given his torch to someone, right? Or perhaps there was no one there to take and it fell to the ground to a sad and lonely extinguishing. I don’t remember seeing anyone taking it home. Is there anyone in Congress or the government who could have kept it burning brightly? Wherever the torch now is, let it rest, let it rest. We would all be better off making our own torches, anyway.
